Our list includes over 300 of the most important asset & wealth managers, managing the capital of wealthy private and institutional clients in Germany.
In addition to the asset & wealth management (§ 1 Para. 1a No. 3 KWG), some market participants also offer other services. You get also on a second sheet around 30 asset managers as part of (private) banks, but the asset manager are mostly free to choose non bank products for their clients.
Members of the VuV, the association of independent asset managers, meet customers' wishes not to be dependent on certain financial institutions and their products. Partly also Multi-Family Offices are acting as asset and wealth managers, or vice versa, wealth managers also offer family office services to families direct or their Single Family Offices.Many of the providers invest the customers capital in their own funds. These are mostly equity funds, in rarer cases also bond funds. We also mark this as far as we know.

Some data points are empty or filled with n/a if we do not (yet) have the information. Updates are made after new information becomes known (new market participants, exit of market participants, new managing directors, new addresses or main areas of activity, etc.).
To help you we mark the asset managers in yellow (Top A: high recommended, more than 10 Consultants, several offices in whole Germany ) and green (Top B, more regional, excellent services, min. 5-10 consultants).
